The Goldstein Program sponsors a wide variety of curricular and co-curricular activities for students both on and off campus. Since the program was established in 1990, the Goldstein Program has hosted journalists, political activists, foreign policy analysts, diplomats, military commanders and government officials, as well as academics, of both national and international stature. 

In addition to regular campus lectures and symposia on public affairs, the Goldstein Program also funds faculty-led field trips to Washington, DC, New York, and other locations. Past field trips include visits to the World Bank, the U.S. Department of State, the United States Institute of Peace, the National Portrait Gallery, C-SPAN, the Capitol building, foreign embassies, and many more.

The Goldstein Program also proudly supports classroom innovation and service learning. Since 2009, the program has provided funding for various student-designed and implemented human rights campaigns in connection with the Human Rights and Social Justice class.

 The Goldstein Program regularly provides student funding for the Model United Nations at McGill University, Public Leadership Education Network Seminar on Women and Public Policy, SCUSA (West Point Military Academy, Annual Student Conference on U.S. Affairs).
