Truman Scholarship
The Truman is a merit-based award offered to US citizens and nationals who want to go to graduate school in preparation for a career in public service. Truman Scholars have been recognized as future "change agents." They have the passion, intellect, and leadership potential that should enable them to improve the ways that public entities - be they government agencies, nonprofit organizations, public and private educational institutions, or advocacy organizations - serve the public good.

Eligibility Guidelines
- be an undergraduate junior at the time of NYU deadline
- be a U.S. citizen or national
- demonstrate significant leadership and a commitment to public service
