Lindsay Mehta '13

Major: Economics and Business Management

I lead Investor Relations at JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in leading software companies. I am responsible for the Firm's fundraising efforts and relationships with its limited partners. Prior to JMI, I was an Associate Investment Director at Cambridge Associates. In addition to a BA from Washington College in 2013, I obtained an MBA from the Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 2020. I currently reside in Maryland with my husband, Shaan, and our son, Cameron.

Economics courses and my senior capstone experience with Professor Wharton and Leadership with Professor Harvey.

Fondest WC Memory

There are so many! Late nights working with The Elm team were so fun, rewarding and memorable, along with a few epic Wars on the Shore!

Let's Hear It for the Liberal Arts

At WC, it was the diversity of experiences that prepared me for life and a fulfilling career.  I took advantage of as much opportunity as I could to connect with professors, hone my writing skills with The Elm and Writing Center, and also build relationships with leaders in the Chestertown community. Being in a close-knit community gave me the chance to chart my own path and experiences at WC, and I am so grateful for my undergraduate experience that prepared me well to pursue my MBA and a career in private equity.
