Golden Goose Takes Flight

Washington College's New Campus Pub Now Open!

Cheers are in order as The Golden Goose, Washington College's highly anticipated new campus pub, officially opened its doors last week! 

Located in Hynson Lounge in Hodson Hall, the pub, whose name was chosen by the campus community, promises to be a vibrant social hub for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. 

Born from a student idea at the 2024 Presidential Leadership Summit and fueled by the success of Shoreline Socials, The Golden Goose offers a welcoming space for the College community to gather and unwind. Generous support from the President's Leadership Council as well as alumni and students made this exciting addition a reality. 

Open Thursdays through Saturdays, The Golden Goose serves beer, wine, and soft drinks, with food available from a specialty menu. Only those 21 and older can purchase and consume alcohol.  

This collaborative effort, involving students, staff, and faculty, marks a significant milestone in enhancing campus life at Washington College.
