Mighty Match Day Set for October 26

On Wednesday, October 26, the Washington College community will unite for Mighty Match Day.

On Wednesday, October 26, the Washington College community will unite for Mighty Match Day, an annual day of giving back focused on raising funds for increased student access and improving the student experience while also supporting the critical work of the faculty.  Throughout that entire 24-hour period, all gifts will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $100,000.  

A generous group of alumni and trustee donors will match gifts to the following areas: Scholarships, the Rose O’Neill Literary House, The Center for Environment and Society, the Athey Athletics Club, Faculty Support, and Campus Sustainability. All other gifts will be matched to The Washington Fund, which provides critical support for all activities of the College.   

Throughout the day there will also be giving challenges for young alumni, alumni couples and parents.  

Donors who give before 10 a.m. on October 26 will receive a thank you gift of a Washington College lanyard.
