Emily graduated in 2019. During her time at Washington College, she was a student
screener at Cherry Tree: A National Literary Journal.
She worked with Dr. Liz O’Connor for her Senior thesis, which was titled: “Mrs. Dalloway:
Trauma and Public Opinion.” Emily says that the English department helped her become
her most curious self. She says that “the faculty generously and tirelessly helped
me explore each interest I developed.”
