Dru has a deep interest in community gardening and regenerative agriculture practices.
Having done work in a volunteer garden close to their home and traveling abroad for
a winter course to study Ecuador's natural environment, they have been acting on their
ambitions of studying the natural world and implementing various methods to living
in accordance with the land.
Dru is double majoring in International Studies and Environmental Science to learn
about the intersection of the natural world and humanity. Focusing primarily on how
climate change specific solutions can cause both growth and regression, separately,
in different societies. Dru intends to study and promote the balance of environmental
solutions while prioritizing the wellbeing of all the people, cultures, and environments
in our world. Going forward they will continue to learn even more about regenerative
agriculture practices and continue to promote their implementation into daily life
to help create a more beautiful and diverse world.
